Reach Out and Read recently received a grant for $1000! We would like to say a big thank you to the AAP Pediatric Foundation of GA for their generosity! Pictures! New Website!This is a website dedicated to Voice For Kids Health (VFKH). VFKH is an organization run by pediatric residents at the Medical College of Georgia that supports causes that promote the health and wellbeing of infants and children. The two organizations that we've regularly donated to and worked with include Safe Kids and Reach Out and Read. Safe Kids is a volunteer community-based coalition commited to preventing unintentional childhood injury. Reach Out and Read (ROAR) is a national program designed to promote early literacy by bringing new books to children at routine health examinations. In addition to planning fundraisers and brainstorming ways to raise funds to support our causes, VFKH serves to keep residents updated on legislative activity affecting children's healthcare at the state and national levels.
